Take time out from battling data and make a date with the apes!

An exclusive opening night screening of ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ for Dunedin’s IT crowd was a tribute to technology on screen and off to help nurture Cyclones key accounts and engage with new contacts while promoting IBM’s infrastructure solutions for a Smarter Planet. RAW managed the invitation process, messaging, creative and data procurement along with tele-boosting calls to drive RSVP’s. Attendees were treated to canapés and drinks for networking before the event, along with a branded popcorn box which linked the big data theming for the night and encouraged people to guess how many ‘bytes’ of data could fit into the box by text, with the winner claiming a travel voucher. The answer was 318 bytes! The event had a great turn out for the small Dunedin market and fantastic feedback as a brand building exercise and lead generation to uncover otherwise unknown opportunities.
